riley green joined TikTok in March 2020 and since his debut on the social media platform, he has shared behind-the-scenes performance clips and videos, but he hasn’t participated in any of the TikTok dance crazes, nor does he seem not likely that it will. However, on Thursday, January 6, the country superstar posted her first-ever dance video on TikTok.
“Finally did my first tik tok dance…” Green captioned the video, alongside the hashtags #bouttime, #hulahoop, #airguitar, #watchthis and #notforbeginners.
The clip features Green dancing to Eric Clapton’s “Cocaine” on his tour bus, while members of his tour crew watch. A member of his touring staff even joined Green when the Alabama native grabbed his leg to use as an air guitar.
Throughout the clip, Green dances and plays air guitar. One of the dances he called “the hula-hoop”, in which Green moves his hips in a circular motion, similar to what you would do if using a hula hoop.
Since the video’s debut on the social media platform, it has amassed over 260,000 views.
