Devotion to the Dance
As the man enters the Salsa club, he notices an attractive woman at
a table, alone.
He watches as she accepts dancing invitations from three different men.
After each dance,
she returns to her table. He can't help but conclude that she is an
excellent Salsa dancer.
It also appears that she does not have an escort. He decides to
ask her to dance.
After she is seated once again, he walks over and says to
her, "Hello. I've
been watching you dance.
You dance so well that I'm surprised you seem to be all
by yourself."
She replies, "Thank you. Actually, my husband and I used go dancing
several times a week. Unfortunately, he died recently. This is the first
time I've been out dancing without him."
"Wow. That's so sad. Don't you have friends or relatives who will go
dancing with you?"
"Oh, sure," she answers, "but, they're all at the funeral."
